These are the very first MLS cards! These cards were produced my an MLS card licensee and were given out at the 1996 MLS All-Star game in New York. They were promotional cards for a set that was never issued because the licensee ran into financial problems. Very few of these got into collectors hands. There are two cards in the set, Cobi Jones of the L.A. Galaxy and Carlos Valderrama/Roy Lassiter of the Tampa Bay Mutiny.
